Best AI User Acquisition Platforms for Mobile Apps 2026
Twenty-two AI user acquisition platforms for mobile apps compared, from agents that run Apple Ads, Meta and TikTok for you to the AI inside Google, AppLovin and Moloco, with prices, autonomy, approvals and official minimum budgets.
Best AI User Acquisition Platforms 2026: The Short Answer
Superapp Selfdrive is the best AI user acquisition platform for iOS app founders in 2026, because its agents run Apple Ads, the App Store's own ad platform, inside your budget, then turn what converts into a better App Store listing, a website with SEO content and creator campaigns, with your approval on anything public. The rest of the market splits into three layers. Platform AI bids inside one network: Apple's Maximize Conversions, Google App campaigns, Meta Advantage+, TikTok Smart+, AppLovin's Axon, Moloco, Liftoff and Unity. Cross-network agents run campaigns on several networks for you: Appvertiser AI and Appier AIXPERT for app teams with budget, Lazy Ads and Applytix for small teams, Ube for vibe coders, and ASA Agent or AdsBuddy if you want Apple Ads only. Measurement platforms with AI, such as AppsFlyer and Singular, feed all of them the data they need.
Quick answer: what is the best AI user acquisition platform for mobile apps in 2026? Superapp Selfdrive is the best pick for iOS founders who want user acquisition run for them: its agents manage Apple Ads bids and keywords within your budget, feed what converts into your App Store listing, build your website and run creator campaigns (included in Superapp's $100/month Max plan, in beta for selected accounts). For AI on other channels, use the platforms' own AI first: Meta Advantage+, Google App campaigns (Google recommends a daily budget of at least 50 times your target cost per install) and TikTok Smart+ (more than $50 a day per campaign). Add Moloco ($300 a day minimum) or AppLovin Ads once you have steady conversion data, and a cross-network agent such as Appvertiser AI when you run several networks. Honest caveat: Selfdrive's only paid channel is Apple Ads, and no AI guarantees profitable users.
What Is an AI User Acquisition Platform?
An AI user acquisition platform is software that uses machine learning or AI agents to find, bid for and buy new users for your app. The term covers three different things, and confusing them is the most common buying mistake.
| Layer | What the AI does | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| 3. Growth-loop agents, led by Superapp Selfdrive | Runs paid ads and carries what it learns into ASO, website and creators | Superapp Selfdrive |
| 2. Cross-network agents | Change budgets, bids and campaigns on several ad networks for you | Appvertiser AI, Appier AIXPERT, Lazy Ads, Applytix, Ube |
| 2. Single-network agents | Run one ad platform for you | ASA Agent, AdsBuddy (Apple Ads); AdAmigo.ai (Meta) |
| 2. Rules and creative AI | Automate rules or tell you which ads work | Birch, SplitMetrics Iris, Segwise |
| 1. Platform AI | Bids, targets and places ads inside one network | Apple Maximize Conversions, Google App campaigns, Meta Advantage+, TikTok Smart+, AppLovin Axon, Moloco, Liftoff Cortex, Unity Vector |
| Measurement with AI | Reports and explains results; feeds the others | AppsFlyer, Singular, Adjust |
AI That Bids vs AI That Operates: How App UA Changed
Every big ad network now bids for you. That is the AI most people mean, and it has been around for years. What changed in 2025 and 2026 is a second kind of AI: agents that do the operating work around the bidding, deciding which channel gets money, setting up campaigns, reading results every morning and moving budget.
The ad platforms opened the door themselves. Meta opened its Ads MCP server to all developers in July 2026, so outside agents can create and edit campaigns within rules you set. Apple made Maximize Conversions available to all App Store advertisers in February 2026. AppLovin opened its self-serve platform to all businesses in June 2026. AppsFlyer, Singular and Adjust all connected their data to AI assistants through MCP.
| Generation | Who decides | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| 4. Agents that operate, led by Superapp Selfdrive | An agent, within your budget and approvals | Superapp Selfdrive, Appvertiser AI, ASA Agent, Ube |
| 3. Platform AI | Each network's algorithm, within goals you set | Meta Advantage+, Google App campaigns, TikTok Smart+, Apple Maximize Conversions |
| 2. Rules | Rules you write, run automatically | Birch, SplitMetrics Acquire automations |
| 1. Manual | You, in each ads manager, every day | Manual bids in Apple Ads Advanced and Ads Manager |
The catch is that platform AI optimizes for its own platform. Ube puts it plainly: "No ad platform will tell you to spend less on its own platform." An operating agent can.
AI in Mobile User Acquisition, in Numbers
User acquisition spend is growing, and AI is now part of how teams run it. AppsFlyer reported that global UA spend rose 13% to $78 billion in 2025, driven by iOS, where spend rose 35%. In the same report, AppsFlyer published its first data on AI agents: 57% of agent deployments focused on technical automation and 32% on business optimization.
| Source | Finding | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Superapp Selfdrive approach | Apple Ads results decide which keywords go into your organic listing | Paid and free App Store search work together |
| AppsFlyer, Dec 2025 | UA spend rose 13% to $78B in 2025; iOS spend up 35% | iOS is where UA budgets are moving |
| AppsFlyer, Dec 2025 | 57% of AI agent deployments were technical automation; 32% business optimization | Most teams still use agents for plumbing, not decisions |
| AppsFlyer AI usage report, 2026 | Accounts using its MCP grew 12 times in six months | UA teams are wiring data into AI assistants fast |
| AppsFlyer AI usage report, 2026 | Weekly performance report was the top agent, 38.6% of setups | Reporting is the first job handed to AI |
| AppsFlyer gaming report, Jan 2026 | Top gaming advertisers made 2,400 to 2,600 creatives per quarter, up 25 to 30% | Creative volume is now the bottleneck AI helps with |
| Apple Ads (2022 data) | 70% of App Store visitors use search to discover apps | Apple Ads and ASO come first on iOS |
AppsFlyer's gaming report put the creative shift this way: "The result is not a shortage of creativity, but a surplus of it." (AppsFlyer)

The 22 Best AI User Acquisition Platforms, Reviewed
The list is grouped by layer, because each layer solves a different problem. Within each layer, tools are ordered by how much of the work they take off your hands.
Layer 3: agents that run the whole growth loop.
1. Superapp Selfdrive: best AI user acquisition agent for iOS apps
Layer: growth-loop agent (Apple Ads, ASO, website and SEO, creator campaigns).
As a disclosure, Superapp Selfdrive is our product, so weigh this accordingly. Superapp Selfdrive is the set of AI marketing agents built into Superapp, the AI platform that builds iOS apps and websites. Its tagline is "Four agents. You approve, they do the work." It ranks first for iOS founders because it does the part no ad platform does for you: deciding what to do next, doing it, and carrying what it learns from paid ads into free channels.
How its user acquisition works: the Apple Ads agent runs App Store search ads within the budget you set. It picks keywords, sets bids and pauses what does not work. It then uses those results to improve your App Store listing, because a keyword that converts in Apple Ads is a keyword worth ranking for organically, so each paid install also teaches your free channel. The other agents build your app's website and write SEO content for Google and ChatGPT, and run creator (UGC) campaigns: writing the brief, reviewing applications, hiring creators and messaging them, with creator pay tied to videos you approve.
Control: Superapp's page says "Nothing goes live without you." You set the ad budget, and Apple bills ad spend to your own Apple Ads account. Inside an approved budget and campaign, Selfdrive changes bids and keywords without asking each time. Listing changes, creator briefs and every creator video wait for your approval. Every morning you get one email with downloads, ad spend, campaign results, what it plans next and what is waiting for you.
Which apps: apps built in Superapp and any existing App Store app you own, connected by its App Store link or through App Store Connect.
Price: included in Superapp's Max plan at $100/month with 230 credits. Ad spend and creator fees are separate.
The manual way it replaces: logging into Apple Ads every day, then copying what you learned into App Store Connect, a website and creator briefs by hand.
Pitfall: Selfdrive is in beta for selected accounts, and Superapp says there is no guaranteed growth timeline.
Who it is not for: Android apps, and teams that need Meta, Google or TikTok ads bought for them, because Selfdrive's only paid channel is Apple Ads. There are no independent reviews yet.
Get the most from it: start with a modest Apple Ads budget, approve listing changes quickly so they can be measured, and add Meta or TikTok, with a platform's own AI or an agent from layer 2, only once you know which keywords and messages convert.
Best for: iOS founders who want user acquisition run for them, starting with Apple Ads and connected to ASO, a website and creators.
Layer 2: agents that run campaigns across networks. These tools sit on top of the ad platforms. They read your results, then change budgets, bids and campaigns for you, usually inside limits you set.
2. Appvertiser AI: best cross-network UA agent for app and game teams
Layer: cross-network agent and growth services.
Appvertiser AI is a user acquisition platform for mobile games and apps that combines dashboards, campaign management, AI recommendations and automated optimization of budgets, bids and scaling. It connects your ad channels and your mobile measurement partner, and names Adjust, AppsFlyer and Singular as partners. The site says "Once goals and guardrails are defined, Appvertiser AI continuously executes campaign optimizations". It also sells human services alongside the software: strategy, ASO, creative production and soft launches.
Channels: Meta, Google and TikTok by name, plus other ad networks. Apple Ads is not named on the site.
Autonomy: recommends and executes, within goals, guardrails and approval workflows your team sets.
Price: not public. You book a demo.
The manual way it replaces: a UA manager exporting MMP data into spreadsheets every morning and moving budget network by network.
Pitfall: it is sales-led, with no self-serve sign-up or published price, so it suits teams with an existing UA budget rather than a first test.
Who it is not for: solo founders, and iOS apps whose main channel is Apple Ads.
Best for: app and game companies spending across Meta, Google, TikTok and ad networks that want one AI layer plus optional human help.
3. Appier AIXPERT: best for automated budgets across Apple, Meta, Google and TikTok
Layer: cross-network agent.
Appier is an established adtech company, and AIXPERT is its AI campaign automation product for app advertisers. It makes budget and bid decisions around the clock across channels, and its page names Apple Search Ads, TikTok, Facebook, Google and Twitter. That makes it one of the few tools in this list that names Apple Ads and the big social and search platforms together.
Autonomy: two modes. Autopilot, which Appier describes as "Fully automate budget allocation and bidding strategies with AI autopilot.", and a self-serve mode where you apply its suggestions yourself.
Price: not public. Contact sales.
The manual way it replaces: setting bids and splitting budget by hand in each ads manager.
Pitfall: little public detail on integrations, measurement or minimum spend, so you learn the fit only in a sales call.
Who it is not for: small apps that want a published price and instant sign-up.
Best for: mid-size and large app advertisers who want one AI to allocate budget across Apple Ads and social platforms.
4. Lazy Ads: best self-serve AI media buyer across many networks
Layer: cross-network agent.
Lazy Ads calls itself an AI media buyer. It builds, launches and optimizes campaigns from one dashboard across Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, Apple (App Store and Apple Maps), Bing, ChatGPT and Snapchat. After launch it moves budget, runs A/B tests, and scales or pauses campaigns. It also has an MCP server, so you can drive it from Claude Code, Cursor or another AI agent.
Autonomy: you can approve each campaign before it goes live or let campaigns publish automatically.
Price: Starter $79/month billed yearly ($99 monthly) for up to $3,000 a month in ad spend, Growth $199/month yearly ($249 monthly) for up to $20,000, Scale $399/month yearly ($499 monthly) with no spend cap, and a $19/month yearly ($24 monthly) bring-your-own-agent plan. The free tier does not include AI campaign building.
The manual way it replaces: learning ten different ads managers.
Pitfall: it is a general small-business ads tool, not built for apps. Its site does not mention an MMP, SKAdNetwork or AdAttributionKit, which matters for measuring iOS installs.
Who it is not for: apps that need deep app-install optimization tied to an MMP.
Best for: small teams that want one self-serve AI across many networks at a published price.
5. Applytix: best for indie developers who want Apple Ads and Google Ads built for them
Layer: app marketing workspace with an ads agent.
Applytix is an app marketing workspace for store text, prices, keywords and ads, based in Germany. Its AI, called Tix, creates and optimizes Apple Ads and Google Ads campaigns automatically. Meta and TikTok connect as data sources, so you can see results there, but Applytix does not create campaigns on them.
Autonomy: it recommends by default. With auto-apply on, it makes changes up to a daily limit, only for the action types you allow per campaign, never above the maximum daily budget you set, and it explains each change in plain language.
Integrations: App Store Connect, Google Play, RevenueCat, Apple Ads, Google Ads, Meta and TikTok, plus a Claude connector.
Price: a free tier with no card required. Paid prices were not visible on its site when we checked.
The manual way it replaces: setting up Apple Ads and Google App campaigns from scratch with no ads experience.
Pitfall: it runs only Apple Ads and Google Ads; it does not run Meta or TikTok campaigns.
Who it is not for: teams that need paid social run for them.
Best for: indie developers and small teams with no ASO or ads specialist, on iOS and Android.
6. Ube: best growth agent for vibe coders on Meta, Google and TikTok
Layer: growth-loop agent.
Ube calls itself a "Mobile App Growth Agent". It sets up analytics, attribution and dashboards, then runs paid ads, creatives and A/B tests through Firebase Remote Config, moving budget toward the combinations that perform. Its pitch is honesty about spend: "No ad platform will tell you to spend less on its own platform."
Channels: Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and Reddit. It does not mention Apple Ads.
Integrations: AppsFlyer, RevenueCat, Firebase, Amplitude, AdMob and creative tools such as Creatify.
Autonomy: it acts after you approve a creative brief and shows launch approvals for Google Ads and Meta.
Price: Solo $150 per app per month for up to $1,000 of managed ad spend, Team $500 per app per month for up to $15,000, and Enterprise on request. Ube also takes a 5% commission on managed ad spend. Paid plans showed a waitlist when we checked.
The manual way it replaces: a founder setting up Firebase, an MMP and three ads managers alone.
Pitfall: waitlist access, and the 5% commission sits on top of the subscription.
Who it is not for: iOS apps that want Apple Ads run, and anyone who needs access today.
Best for: vibe coders and solo founders who want one agent across paid social and Google with experiments built in.
7. ASA Agent: best fully autonomous Apple Ads agent
Layer: single-network agent (Apple Ads).
ASA Agent runs Apple Ads with no approval step per change. It builds Discovery, exact-match and Maximize Conversions campaigns per country, adjusts bids toward return on ad spend using revenue from RevenueCat, Adapty, AppsFlyer or its own SDK, pauses losing keywords and scales winners. It runs twice a day and sends a report after each run, and its site says "Every bid change includes a reason explaining the logic."
Control: you steer it in plain English, and a one-click emergency pause stops everything.
Price per app per month: Starter $49 for up to $300 of ad spend, Growth $99 for up to $2,000, Scale $199 for up to $10,000, and custom above that. Apple bills ad spend separately.
The manual way it replaces: logging into Apple Ads twice a day to move bids.
Pitfall: only Apple Ads, and the price climbs with each spend tier and each app.
Who it is not for: founders who want to approve changes first, or want the Apple Ads results used for ASO.
Best for: solo iOS developers who want Apple Ads fully on autopilot.
8. AdsBuddy: best low-cost Apple Ads agent judged on revenue
Layer: single-network agent (Apple Ads).
AdsBuddy manages Apple Ads for indie developers and judges every keyword on RevenueCat revenue rather than installs. It builds an AI ads plan, applies changes in one click and sends a daily summary per app.
Control: three modes: observe only, with approval, or automatic. Strategic changes always wait for your review, and you set a daily budget, a payback target and a maximum bid. Each change is logged with before and after values.
Price: Starter $29/month for up to three apps and Growth $49/month for unlimited apps, with a 30-day free trial and no card.
The manual way it replaces: guessing which keywords make money from install counts alone.
Pitfall: it is very new, launched in 2026 with little public feedback yet.
Who it is not for: apps that do not use RevenueCat, or that need other channels.
Best for: indie iOS developers on RevenueCat who want cheap, revenue-aware Apple Ads help.
9. AdAmigo.ai: best AI autopilot for Meta app campaigns
Layer: single-network agent (Meta and Google).
AdAmigo.ai generates image and video ads and copy, bulk-launches campaigns and optimizes budgets and targeting daily on Meta and Google Ads, reporting each change with its reasoning. Monitoring agents flag spend anomalies, broken links and disabled ads. AdAmigo says TikTok support is coming later in 2026.
Autonomy: three modes: a chat agent that acts only on instructions, an autopilot that prepares changes each morning for approval, and an autopilot that applies changes overnight and logs them. Guardrails cover budget limits and targeting rules.
Price per ad account: Entry $99/month for accounts under $2,000 a month of spend, Unlimited Access $349/month, Agency custom, with a 7-day free trial and no card.
The manual way it replaces: checking Meta Ads Manager every morning for fatigue and pacing.
Pitfall: it is built for Meta advertisers in general, not for app installs, and pricing is per ad account.
Who it is not for: Apple Ads or TikTok advertisers today.
Best for: consumer and subscription apps that spend most of their budget on Meta.
10. Birch: best rule-based automation with MMP data
Layer: rules engine with AI assist.
Birch, formerly Revealbot, runs rules that pause ads, raise or set budgets and scale campaigns, as often as every 15 minutes, across Meta, Google, TikTok and Snapchat. It can use AppsFlyer and Adjust data in those rules, which matters for app advertisers who trust their MMP more than each platform's own reporting. Birch AI builds rules from plain-language requests, under the principle that "AI assists, you decide".
Price: Essential $49/month, Pro $99/month and Enterprise custom, priced by ad spend tier, with a 14-day free trial and no card.
The manual way it replaces: watching dashboards and pausing ads by hand.
Pitfall: it executes rules you write; it does not plan campaigns or make creative.
Who it is not for: founders who want an agent to make the decisions.
Best for: performance marketers who want precise, MMP-aware rules across social networks.
11. SplitMetrics Acquire with Iris: best free Apple Ads automation with an AI analyst
Layer: Apple Ads platform with an AI agent.
SplitMetrics Acquire is an Apple Ads management platform. Its Starter plan is free indefinitely for up to $25,000 a month in ad spend and includes eight automation rules run daily. Iris, launched in March 2026, is described as "an AI Agent built specifically for Apple Ads performance optimization". It spots trends, seasonality and anomalies, flags overspend, explains changes and recommends what to scale, pause and rebid.
Price: Starter free; Enterprise custom. Iris is a paid add-on with no public price.
The manual way it replaces: building Apple Ads reports to explain why installs dropped.
Pitfall: Iris explains and recommends; the published material does not show it applying changes itself.
Who it is not for: teams outside Apple Ads.
Best for: Apple Ads teams who want free rules plus an AI analyst on top.
12. Segwise: best AI for creative analysis in user acquisition
Layer: creative intelligence (not a media buyer).
Segwise tags and analyzes creative performance across 15+ ad networks and MMPs, including Meta, Google, TikTok, AppLovin, Unity, Mintegral and Moloco, and connects to AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch and Singular. It sends fatigue alerts and generates static, video, playable and UGC-style ads from what worked. Its agents handle creative strategy and analysis.
Price: Growth $499/month for up to $250,000 of monthly ad spend, Pro $1,699/month, Enterprise custom, with a 7-day free trial and no card.
The manual way it replaces: tagging hundreds of ads by hand to learn which hooks work.
Pitfall: it does not change live budgets or bids, so you still need a person or another tool to act on its findings.
Who it is not for: indie apps with small ad budgets.
Best for: games and subscription apps with real spend across several networks, where creative is the main lever.
Layer 1: the AI built into each ad platform. Every major network now bids, targets and places ads with machine learning. This is the AI that does the most work in user acquisition, but each one works only inside its own platform, and each one optimizes for its own platform.
13. Apple Ads Maximize Conversions: best built-in AI for App Store search
Layer: platform AI.
Maximize Conversions is Apple's automated bid strategy for search results campaigns, rolled out to all App Store advertisers in February 2026, PPC Land reported. You set a target cost per install and a daily budget, and Apple bids for you. Apple's help page says "you can't add or manage keyword bids in Maximize Conversions campaigns." Apple Ads Basic goes further: Apple chooses where your ad shows, you pay per install at a price you set, and budgets are capped at $10,000 per app per month.
Price: no fee beyond ad spend, and no minimum budget.
The manual way it replaces: setting a bid on every keyword.
Pitfall: it bids, but it does not choose keywords to add, write your listing or decide your budget, and it works only in search results.
Who it is not for: teams that want keyword-level control in the same campaign.
Best for: any iOS app that wants Apple to handle bidding in search results.
14. Google App campaigns: best built-in AI for Android and broad reach
Layer: platform AI.
Google App campaigns run one campaign across Google Search, Google Play, YouTube, Discover and the Display Network. You supply text, images and video, and Google says "Google Ads will test different ad combinations and serve the best-performing ads." You bid to a target cost per install, cost per action or return on ad spend, and Google made target ROAS available globally on iOS in 2025. Google's own Ads MCP server is read-only: Google says it "cannot modify bids, pause campaigns, or create new assets" (Google), so outside agents can read Google Ads data but not change campaigns through it.
Budget: Google's best practices say install campaigns bidding on target CPI need a daily budget of "at least 50 times the bid."
In their words: RevenueCat's growth team wrote that "With GAC, Google's algorithm decides everything: placements, keywords, audiences, budget allocation" (RevenueCat).
The manual way it replaces: separate campaigns for Search, Play and YouTube.
Pitfall: you see little about where ads ran, and the budget rule is heavy for small apps.
Who it is not for: teams that need keyword or placement reports.
Best for: Android and cross-platform apps.
15. Meta Advantage+ app campaigns: best built-in AI for social app installs
Layer: platform AI.
Meta merged its app campaign setup into one Advantage+ flow in 2025. A campaign is Advantage+ when it uses Advantage+ budget, audience and placements, and Meta's AI then decides who sees which ad and where. You can optimize for installs, app events or purchase value. Meta also opened its Ads MCP server to all developers in July 2026, so outside AI agents can create and edit campaigns, with "Rules define the actions an AI agent can and cannot take" on an account. At Advertising Week in October 2026, Meta said agentic campaign setup and budget changes inside its own AI business assistant were only starting to be tested.
Price: no fee beyond ad spend.
In their words: Adapty wrote in June 2026 that "30-60% of iOS conversions can be invisible to Meta's attribution" (Adapty).
The manual way it replaces: building audiences and placement splits by hand.
Pitfall: partial iOS measurement and steadily fewer manual controls.
Who it is not for: apps without a steady supply of new creative.
Best for: consumer and subscription apps with purchase events and many ad variations.
16. TikTok Smart+ app campaigns: best built-in AI for short video
Layer: platform AI.
TikTok Smart+ app campaigns automate targeting, bidding, budget and creative choices for app installs and in-app events. On Android, Smart+ places ads automatically across TikTok, Lemon8 and the TikTok Ad Network; on iOS, it runs on TikTok and Lemon8 only. TikTok's 2025 update let advertisers adjust automation "module-by-module", so you can keep control of targeting, budget or creative where you want it.
Budget: TikTok's help center says campaign daily budgets must exceed $50 and ad group daily budgets must exceed $20.
The manual way it replaces: testing audiences and placements one ad group at a time.
Pitfall: creative fatigue. Segwise notes "repetitive ads often lose traction after just a few days" (Segwise).
Who it is not for: apps without video creative.
Best for: consumer apps that look good in short video and UGC.
17. AppLovin Ads with Axon: best AI network for mobile games
Layer: platform AI.
AppLovin Ads opened its self-serve platform to all businesses on June 22, 2026. AppLovin says "Axon remains the name of our AI recommendation system." Advertisers set goals such as a target return on ad spend or cost per purchaser, and Axon finds users across AppLovin's in-app supply, which AppLovin says reaches more than a billion daily users.
Price: no published minimum.
In their words: AdExchanger reported in August 2026 that "the ads are still largely served in gaming apps" (AdExchanger).
The manual way it replaces: negotiating with an account team for access.
Pitfall: it needs steady purchase or revenue data to learn, and the inventory leans toward games.
Who it is not for: early apps with few conversions.
Best for: mobile games and apps with revenue events at scale.
18. Moloco Ads: best independent AI DSP for deeper-funnel goals
Layer: platform AI (DSP).
Moloco Ads is a machine-learning demand-side platform that bids across ad exchanges toward in-app actions and return on ad spend. Moloco calls it "an AI-native performance advertising platform" and says "2B+ daily active users can be reached by Moloco Ads." You connect your MMP, upload creative, set a budget and launch through Moloco Ads Manager. Moloco is candid about its place in the mix: "Teams typically run Moloco Ads alongside Google and Meta, not instead of them." (Moloco)
Budget: "The current minimum for new Moloco Ads campaigns is $300 per day".
The manual way it replaces: buying programmatic inventory through an agency.
Pitfall: the $300 a day minimum and the need for reliable post-install events put it out of reach for new apps.
Who it is not for: apps without an MMP.
Best for: apps with steady conversion data that want scale beyond Meta and Google.
19. Liftoff Accelerate with Cortex: best managed AI for acquisition and re-engagement
Layer: platform AI (DSP and network).
Liftoff Accelerate runs user acquisition and re-engagement on Liftoff's Cortex AI engine, with Vungle supply in many top games. Liftoff says you can "directly optimize for any type of KPI (CPC, CPI, CPA, ROAS, pLTV)." When Liftoff launched Cortex in October 2024, it reported early campaigns averaging 23% lower cost per install and 16% higher return on ad spend, its own figures (press release). It listed on Nasdaq in June 2026.
Price: not published; mostly sold with account management.
The manual way it replaces: separate vendors for acquisition and retargeting.
Pitfall: less self-serve than Google or Meta, and results vary by category.
Who it is not for: small apps that want to sign up and launch today.
Best for: games and consumer apps that want a managed AI partner for both new and lapsed users.
20. Unity Ads with Vector: best AI for in-game inventory
Layer: platform AI.
Unity Ads runs on Vector, which Unity calls a "self-learning AI model built to give marketers precision targeting". It offers install, event, return on ad spend and creative-testing campaigns. Unity closed ironSource Ads' direct demand business on April 30, 2026 and moved those advertisers to Unity Ads. Unity's CEO said in 2025 that moving to Vector brought a 15 to 20% lift in installs and in-app purchase value on iOS (MobileGamer.biz), a company claim.
Price: not published.
In their words: Naavik wrote in April 2026 that "AppLovin still retains a clear lead" in this market (Naavik).
The manual way it replaces: buying in-game placements network by network.
Pitfall: it is game-centric, and performance depends heavily on creative.
Who it is not for: non-gaming apps as a first channel.
Best for: mobile games, especially those already on Unity.
Measurement with AI: where every agent gets its data. These tools do not buy ads, but they decide what the agents above can see and trust.
21. AppsFlyer: best measurement platform with AI agents for UA reporting
Layer: measurement (MMP) with AI agents.
AppsFlyer launched an MCP server in July 2025, so AI tools such as Claude can query its attribution data in plain language, and it now runs an Agent Hub, in beta for advertisers, with agents for performance reports, anomaly alerts, setup audits, creative opportunities, fraud checks and incrementality. Its AI usage report found accounts using its MCP grew 12 times in six months, and the most common agent was a weekly performance report, at 38.6% of setups. Its incrementality agent recommends budget moves but does not move budget itself.
Price: the Zero plan is free for 12,000 conversions in the first year but is not meant for paid campaigns; Growth is pay as you go at $0.07 per conversion; Enterprise is custom.
In their words: AppsFlyer's Inna Weiner said "Many marketers say they are still struggling to measure clear ROI from AI" (CMOtech).
The manual way it replaces: building weekly UA reports by hand.
Pitfall: its agents analyze and recommend; they do not change campaigns on ad platforms.
Who it is not for: apps running only Apple Ads, where Apple's own attribution may be enough.
Best for: apps on two or more paid channels that want one source of truth their AI tools can read.
22. Singular: best free MMP to connect to an AI agent
Layer: measurement (MMP) with MCP.
Singular is free up to 15,000 paid conversions with no card, then $0.05 per conversion on its Growth plan. It connected its data to Claude in June 2025 and to ChatGPT in August 2025 through MCP, available on the free tier, so you can ask an AI assistant about installs, revenue, ROI and top ad partners across networks. Adjust offers a similar Adjust MCP, launched in May 2026, and a free Base plan up to 1,500 monthly conversions for 12 months.
The manual way it replaces: exporting each network's numbers into one spreadsheet.
Pitfall: like other MMPs, it measures; it does not buy or run ads.
Who it is not for: apps that need an agent to act, not just answer questions.
Best for: small and mid-size app teams that want free cross-network measurement their AI agent can query.

Official Minimum Budgets for Platform AI
Platform AI needs data to learn, and some platforms set floors to make sure it gets enough. These figures come from each platform's own help pages or product pages.
| Platform | Official minimum or guidance | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Apple Ads | No minimum; Basic capped at $10,000 per app per month | Apple |
| Google App campaigns | Daily budget at least 50 times target CPI for install campaigns | |
| TikTok Smart+ | Campaign daily budget over $50; ad group over $20 | TikTok |
| Moloco Ads | $300 per day for new campaigns | Moloco |
| AppLovin Ads | No published minimum | AppLovin |
| Meta Advantage+ | Budget must be greater than zero; account minimums vary | Meta |
What AI User Acquisition Needs to Work
AI user acquisition is only as good as the signal it gets. Four things decide whether any tool on this list works for you.
- A conversion event worth optimizing. Installs are cheap to find and often worthless. Give the AI a trial start, a purchase or a day-7 return, and it will look for people who do that.
- Measurement you trust. On iOS, App Tracking Transparency limits user-level tracking, so platforms rely on Apple's AdAttributionKit (the new name for SKAdNetwork) and modeled results. Once you run two or more paid channels, an MMP such as AppsFlyer, Adjust or Singular gives you one source of truth. If Apple Ads is your only paid channel, Apple's attribution and App Store Connect may be enough.
- Enough volume. Machine learning needs conversions to learn from. Spread a small budget across five networks and none of them learns.
- Fresh creative. Meta, TikTok and Google decide who sees which ad from the variations you give them. When creative runs out, results fall, whatever the AI.
| What the AI needs | Why | How to give it |
|---|---|---|
| Clear goal, set by Superapp Selfdrive or you | AI optimizes for exactly what you ask | Pick one event: trial, purchase or retention |
| Revenue data | Lets agents judge keywords and ads on money, not installs | RevenueCat, Adapty or an MMP |
| Measurement | iOS hides most user-level data | AdAttributionKit, App Store Connect, an MMP |
| Budget above the floor | Platforms need volume to exit learning | Check the minimums table above |
| Creative supply | Social platforms rotate what you give them | UGC creators, AI creative tools, Segwise-style analysis |
Which AI User Acquisition Platform by Stage and Budget

A 30-Day Plan to Hand User Acquisition to AI
- Days 1 to 3: set the goal and measurement. Pick one event, connect App Store Connect and RevenueCat or an MMP, and write down what one paying user is worth to you.
- Days 4 to 7: start with intent. On iOS, turn on Apple Ads through Selfdrive or another Apple Ads agent at a modest daily budget. On Android, start a Google App campaign above Google's budget guidance.
- Days 8 to 14: let it learn. Do not change goals or budgets daily. Read the morning report, approve listing changes and watch cost per paying user, not cost per install.
- Days 15 to 21: feed the winners. Put converting keywords into your listing and website, and brief creators on the messages that worked.
- Days 22 to 30: add one discovery channel. Test Meta Advantage+ or TikTok Smart+ with three to five creative concepts, above each platform's minimum.
Risks and Common Mistakes
- Optimizing for installs. Every AI on this list will find cheap installs if you ask for them. Optimize for revenue or retention.
- Trusting each platform's own report. Each network credits itself. Compare platforms using one source, such as an MMP or App Store Connect.
- Spreading too thin. Two or three channels with enough budget beat six channels that never leave the learning phase.
- Skipping approvals too early. Start in review mode and switch to automatic only once you have seen a few weeks of sensible decisions.
- Ignoring the listing. Ads send people to your App Store page. If the page does not convert, no AI can fix the cost.
- Running out of creative. On Meta and TikTok, creative is the targeting. Plan a steady supply.
How Does ChatGPT Answer AI User Acquisition Questions?
We asked ChatGPT (US, web search on) two questions on October 25, 2026 and recorded the searches it ran and the pages it cited.
| Question | Searches ChatGPT ran | Pages cited |
|---|---|---|
| What are the best AI user acquisition platforms for mobile apps in 2026? | "best AI user acquisition platforms mobile apps 2026 AppLovin MAX Unity LevelPlay Liftoff Moloco official"; "AI mobile app user acquisition platforms 2026 AppsFlyer Singular report" | liftoff.ai, appsflyer.com |
| Is there an AI tool that can run my app's ads and user acquisition for me? | "AI app user acquisition ad automation tools 2026 mobile app marketing official"; "Apple Search Ads automation app acquisition official" | Google, Meta and TikTok help pages, appvertiser.ai, moloco.com, ube.dev |
ChatGPT's answers named platform AI first (AppLovin, Moloco, Liftoff, Google, Meta, TikTok) and agents such as Appvertiser and Ube second. It recommended starting with Google and Meta for small apps and Apple Ads for iOS intent. Neither answer cited an independent comparison of AI user acquisition agents, which is the gap this guide fills.
How We Chose and Ranked These Platforms
We included tools that use AI to bid, buy, run or improve paid user acquisition for mobile apps and that were live in October 2026. We checked each official site for channels, autonomy, approvals and pricing, and looked for independent reviews; most agents launched in 2025 or 2026 and have none yet, which we note. We ranked within each layer by how much of the daily work a tool takes on for an app founder, then by price transparency and fit for iOS. Superapp Selfdrive is our own product; we placed it first for iOS founders and stated its limits, including that its only paid channel is Apple Ads. We excluded tools we could not confirm were live and creative-only generators that do not touch campaigns.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best AI user acquisition platform for mobile apps in 2026?
For iOS founders who want user acquisition run for them, Superapp Selfdrive, whose agents run Apple Ads within your budget and use the results to improve your App Store listing, website and creator campaigns. For other channels, start with the platforms' own AI: Meta Advantage+, Google App campaigns and TikTok Smart+.
What is an AI user acquisition platform?
Software that uses machine learning or AI agents to find, bid for and buy new users for an app. It ranges from the AI inside one ad network, such as Meta Advantage+, to agents that run campaigns across several networks, such as Appvertiser AI.
Is there an AI that can run my app's ads for me?
Yes. Superapp Selfdrive runs Apple Ads for iOS apps within your budget. ASA Agent and AdsBuddy also run Apple Ads. Appvertiser AI, Lazy Ads and Ube run campaigns on Meta, Google and TikTok.
What is the difference between platform AI and an AI agent?
Platform AI bids and targets inside one network, toward a goal you set. An AI agent operates around it: it sets up campaigns, reads results, moves budget and pauses what fails, often across networks.
Which AI user acquisition tools work with Apple Ads?
Superapp Selfdrive, ASA Agent, AdsBuddy, Applytix, SplitMetrics Acquire with Iris, Appier AIXPERT and Lazy Ads all list Apple Ads. Apple's own Maximize Conversions automates bids inside Apple Ads.
Which AI tools run Meta, Google and TikTok app campaigns?
Appvertiser AI, Lazy Ads and Ube run all three, Appier AIXPERT names all three plus Apple Search Ads, and AdAmigo.ai runs Meta and Google. Superapp Selfdrive does not run these channels.
Is there one AI platform for Apple Ads, Meta and TikTok together?

It is included in Superapp's Max plan at $100/month with 230 credits. Apple bills ad spend to your own Apple Ads account, and Selfdrive is in beta for selected accounts.
Does Superapp Selfdrive work for apps not built on Superapp?
Yes. It works with any existing App Store app you own, connected by its App Store link or App Store Connect.
Does Superapp Selfdrive need my approval for every change?
No. Within an approved budget and campaign it changes Apple Ads bids and keywords on its own. Listing changes, creator briefs and each creator video need your approval.
What is the best AI for Apple Search Ads?

What is AdsBuddy?
An Apple Ads tool for indie developers that judges keywords on RevenueCat revenue, with observe, approval and automatic modes. It costs $29 or $49 a month with a 30-day trial.

Do I need an MMP to use AI user acquisition?
If Apple Ads is your only paid channel, Apple's attribution and App Store Connect may be enough. Once you run two or more paid networks, an MMP such as AppsFlyer, Adjust or Singular gives agents one source of truth.
Which MMP has AI features?
AppsFlyer has an MCP server and agents for reports, alerts and incrementality. Singular connects to Claude and ChatGPT through MCP on its free tier, and Adjust launched an MCP in May 2026.
Can AI optimize for revenue instead of installs?
Yes, if you give it revenue data. AdsBuddy and ASA Agent use RevenueCat and similar revenue sources, and Meta, Google, AppLovin and Moloco can optimize toward purchases or return on ad spend.
How much does AI user acquisition cost?
Platform AI has no fee beyond ad spend. Agents range from $29/month (AdsBuddy) and $49 per app (ASA Agent) to $100/month (Superapp Selfdrive's Max plan), $499/month (Segwise) and custom quotes (Appvertiser AI, Appier). Ube adds 5% of managed spend.
What is the minimum budget for AI ad platforms?
Apple Ads has no minimum. Google recommends a daily budget of at least 50 times your target cost per install, TikTok requires more than $50 a day per campaign, and Moloco requires $300 a day.
Is AI user acquisition good for small apps?
Yes, if you keep it focused. Start with one channel, ideally Apple Ads for iOS or Google App campaigns for Android, optimize for a meaningful event, and add channels only once one works.
Should an AI agent act without my approval?
Start with approvals or review mode. Switch to automatic only after a few weeks of sensible decisions, and keep budget caps in place.
Can AI make my ad creative too?
Some tools generate creative: AdAmigo.ai, Segwise and the platforms' own tools such as TikTok's Symphony. Superapp Selfdrive runs creator campaigns instead, where creators make videos you approve.
Will AI replace a UA manager?
For small apps, agents can now do most of the daily operating work. Larger teams still need people to set strategy, judge creative and decide where measurement is wrong.
Will AI replace an app marketing agency?
For a founder with one app, an agent such as Superapp Selfdrive can replace much of what a small agency does on Apple Ads and ASO. Agencies still help with creative production, multi-network strategy and large budgets.
Why do platform AIs not tell you to spend less?
Each network's AI optimizes inside its own platform. It can lower your cost there, but it will not move budget to a competitor. Cross-network agents and an MMP fix that.
What data does an AI UA agent need?
A clear goal event, revenue or retention data, attribution you trust, a budget above the platform's minimum and fresh creative.
How long does AI user acquisition take to work?
Most platforms need a learning period of one to several weeks at a steady budget. Superapp says there is no guaranteed growth timeline, and the same is true of every tool here.
What is the best AI user acquisition tool for Android?
Google App campaigns, with Applytix if you want an agent to set them up. Ube and Lazy Ads also cover Meta and TikTok for Android apps.
Is SplitMetrics Iris an autonomous agent?
Iris analyzes Apple Ads performance and recommends what to scale, pause and rebid. SplitMetrics Acquire's automation rules can act on their own, and its Starter plan is free up to $25,000 a month in ad spend.
What changed in AI user acquisition in 2026?
Apple opened Maximize Conversions to all advertisers in February, AppLovin opened self-serve in June, Meta opened its Ads MCP server in July, and a wave of AI agents for apps launched, including ASA Agent, AdsBuddy and Iris.
