Nimilo — Language Learning for Little Voices **What if learning a language could feel like play?** Nimilo is a gentle, hands-free language learning app designed for toddlers around age 3. No reading. No menus. No scores. No complicated buttons. Just a friendly picture, a warm voice, and your child's chance to speak. Nimilo helps little ones discover everyday words in up to three languages at the same time—simply by listening and trying to say what they hear. ### HOW IT WORKS A picture appears on the screen. Nimilo says the word. Your child listens and repeats it. If they get it, colorful silent fireworks celebrate their success. Then Nimilo moves on to the next word automatically. There is no pressure to get everything right. Words your child finds difficult simply come back more often, giving them another chance to practice. ### LEARN UP TO 3 LANGUAGES Choose up to three languages from: • English • French • Spanish • German • Italian • Portuguese • Dutch • Bahasa Indonesia • Mandarin Chinese • Japanese • Korean • Arabic ### 40 EVERYDAY WORDS Nimilo introduces familiar words from categories such as animals, food, family, and everyday objects. Words are presented in a random order so the experience stays fresh and the same picture never appears twice in a row. As your child learns, Nimilo adapts. Words that need more practice return more often, while words that remain difficult across several sessions are eventually replaced with something new. ### YOUR VOICE, NOT A ROBOT Parents can record their own voice for every word. A hidden parent area lets you record yourself saying the words, so your child can hear Mom, Dad, or another familiar voice during their sessions. You can also adjust the waiting time for your child's response and manage the languages used by Nimilo. ### NO TAPPING REQUIRED Nimilo is designed so a toddler can use it without knowing how to navigate an app. The experience runs automatically: Listen → Repeat → Celebrate → Discover the next word Your child doesn't need to read, choose a menu, press a button, or keep asking for help. ### PRIVATE & OFFLINE Nimilo is designed with privacy in mind. Speech recognition and audio processing happen directly on the device. Your child's voice recordings do not need to be sent to a server to be recognized. Nimilo can work offline, so learning can happen at home, in the car, or wherever your little one wants to play. SHORT, GENTLE SESSIONS Each session lasts about 10 to 12 minutes, with a soft progress indicator showing that the session is moving along. It's enough time to practice without turning language learning into another long screen-time activity.
