See Superapp in action
The website creation recording from the Superapp homepage shows the shared prompt and preview workflow. Your project’s features and connected services need their own setup and testing.
Explore Superapp appsGive the chatbot a specific job
A useful chatbot has a narrower purpose than answering everything. It might help customers understand your product, help a learner practice a topic, or guide a user through information they provide. Define the audience, the questions the assistant can handle and the point at which it should stop or hand the user to another channel. That makes the experience easier to explain and evaluate.
Superapp helps you turn that brief into an application interface and behavior. Describe whether a conversation starts from a blank message box, a set of suggested questions, or a document the user supplies. Explain what a useful answer looks like. The product should make the assistant’s job clear before the first message, especially when users might mistake a general model response for an official answer.
Design more than a message box
An AI chatbot interface needs visible states for waiting, responding and failure. Ask for a clear send action, readable messages, an indication when work is in progress, and a way to recover from a failed request. If users can return to previous conversations, specify how those conversations are named, saved and deleted. A polished empty screen alone does not prove that the conversation works.
The web and native iPhone experiences should suit their respective devices. A browser chatbot may sit inside a customer portal or occupy its own page. A native app needs comfortable keyboard behavior and navigation on the phone. Choose the first platform deliberately, then test long responses, narrow screens and interrupted connections rather than relying only on the initial preview.
Connect the model and protect its credentials
A chatbot that responds to users needs a model provider connection. Creating an application with AI does not automatically pay for every future conversation inside that application. Decide which provider account will serve the requests, how credentials will be stored and what usage budget is acceptable. The provider’s fees and limits are separate from Superapp’s creation credits.
Keep private keys on the server side and use the supported secret setup. Requests should respect account permissions and sensible limits. If the assistant can use customer records, apply those permissions when fetching information rather than relying on a prompt that tells the model not to reveal it. Start with a narrow set of actions and inspect how failures appear to the end user.
Ground answers in information you control
A product assistant should distinguish approved product information from guesses. If answers require your help articles or private documents, plan how those sources are supplied, updated and filtered by user permissions. Do not assume a general language model knows your latest pricing, policies or account state. Show source references where your implementation supports them and make uncertainty visible when the source does not answer the question.
Document retrieval, file ingestion and external actions are project-specific implementation work. They are not promised as a ready-made knowledge-base service on this page. Begin with a small approved set of information and a representative question list. Include misleading instructions in uploaded material, contradictory information and questions outside scope when evaluating the system. A helpful answer should remain within the assistant’s actual authority.
Measure answer quality and operating cost
Evaluate the chatbot with the questions your users actually ask. Check whether it answers correctly, admits missing information and routes unsupported requests appropriately. Repeat the evaluation when you change prompts, source documents or model settings. A single impressive exchange is useful for a demo but does not establish reliability across your audience’s needs.
Estimate cost per conversation from measured provider usage. Long histories, uploaded context and repeated retries can change that cost. Set usage limits before opening access widely, and decide how users will see exhausted limits or unavailable service. Keep logs appropriate to your privacy commitments and avoid retaining sensitive conversation content without a clear product reason.
How it works
Define the assistant’s scope
Write down the audience, allowed topics, answer format and fallback behavior. Collect a small set of realistic questions with expected answers. Decide whether the assistant only explains information or can perform actions, and identify which actions need explicit user review before they happen.
Create the conversation experience
Describe the chat screens, starting suggestions, history behavior and error states to Superapp. Preview on the chosen device. Test long messages, a conversation with no history and a failed response so the interface remains understandable beyond the first successful exchange.
Configure the provider and data access
Connect the model service using the supported secret flow, then add only the information the assistant needs. Keep account permissions in the application’s data access. Verify a real request and inspect the response path before adding more sources or external actions.
Evaluate and release gradually
Run the question set, review incorrect answers and measure usage. Invite a small group after the basic behavior is reliable. Set a spending boundary with your provider, offer a clear contact route, and repeat the evaluation when the product’s underlying information changes.
Compare the workflows
Compare the workflow and responsibilities, then check the linked providers for current plans and terms.
| Option | Workflow | What to evaluate |
|---|---|---|
| Superapp | AI-assisted app creation for a custom conversation experience | Configure model access, data permissions and evaluation |
| Lovable | AI chatbot category within its app creation platform | Check model integration and deployment requirements |
| Adalo | No-code app platform with an AI apps category | Check provider connections and the required app components |
Pricing and running costs
Superapp offers free starting credits in supported countries, with paid plans starting at $25 per month. Building and revising uses credits. Budget separately for your domain, connected services, and usage inside the finished product. Publishing an iOS app also requires your own Apple Developer membership.
Check current plans and credit allowances before starting. Estimate both the first release and ongoing operation: maintenance, provider usage, and customer support continue after launch. Start with a focused workflow so you can measure actual costs before expanding the product.
Limitations and your responsibilities
Chatbots can produce incorrect or incomplete answers. Model access, retrieval, moderation and escalation behavior must be implemented and tested for the project. The homepage recording demonstrates the general creation workflow, not a preconfigured customer-support bot. Do not present generated responses as professional advice or guaranteed facts. Third-party model availability, fees and data policies remain subject to the chosen provider.
