Connect your app
Add an App Store app to Selfdrive, connect Apple, and understand what access the agent uses.
Selfdrive works on one app at a time, in its own workspace. You can connect as many apps as you like and switch between them.
Three ways to connect
Paste an App Store link
On the Selfdrive page, paste the public App Store link of your app. The agent reads the public listing, reviews and category right away and starts preparing your growth plan. This is the fastest way to see what Selfdrive would do before giving it any access.
Pick an app you built in Superapp
Choose Connect app from Superapp and pick a project. The app must already be live on the App Store. Selfdrive reuses what it knows about the project, including its website if you generated one.
Sign in with your Apple Developer account
Choose Connect with App Store Connect. Sign in with the Apple ID that publishes the app, or paste an App Store Connect API key instead, then pick the app from the list. Use the account and team that own the app; a different team cannot see it.
What the agent uses Apple access for
Connecting App Store Connect lets the agent:
- read your app’s analytics, such as impressions, product page views and downloads, so proposals and the daily report use your real numbers;
- read your current listing metadata, so listing changes are drafted against the version Apple will accept;
- submit the listing changes and version submissions you approve.
Without App Store Connect, the agent still works from public data: your public listing, keyword ranks, reviews and competitors. Sections that need owned data are marked unavailable.
Apple Ads is a separate connection. See Apple Ads.
Your data and security
- Your password is never stored. Signing in creates an Apple session that Selfdrive keeps encrypted, or you provide an API key you can revoke in App Store Connect.
- Analytics are stored for your agent. The nightly run and the daily report read them. They are used for your workspace only.
- You keep ownership. Nothing about the app’s ownership, team or pricing changes. Revoke the API key or session on Apple’s side at any time, and disconnect Apple Ads from the Apple Ads tab.
When you are ready to run tasks
Getting the growth plan is free. Approving tasks needs the Max plan. When you approve your first task without Max, Superapp asks you to upgrade; your workspace and plan stay where they are.
Removing an app
Open the app menu in the workspace and delete it. If a creator campaign is still running, stop it first in chat and wait for the confirmation; remaining payouts are settled through Viral before the app can be removed.
