Creator campaigns

How Selfdrive runs performance-based UGC campaigns, from brief to payout.

Selfdrive runs short-form creator campaigns for your app: it writes the brief, recruits creators, reviews their applications and videos, messages them, and pays only for performance on videos you approve.

Launching a campaign

The Creator campaign task holds everything the campaign will run on:

  • the campaign name and a product description creators see;
  • the platforms, such as TikTok or Instagram;
  • the start date and how many videos each creator posts per week;
  • the CPM rate and bonus mode;
  • the maximum number of creators and the selection criteria.

Approving the task opens recruitment. It does not hire anyone.

Hiring creators

Creators apply to your campaign. For each application the agent writes a recommendation from the creator’s profile, audience and past videos, and you decide in the Applications tab. Every hire and every rejection is your explicit decision; the agent never hires on its own. Audience markets come from your criteria, never from a creator’s name or appearance.

Once hired, the agent messages creators with the brief, answers their questions and follows up on posting schedules. You can read the conversations in the UGC tab.

How creators are paid

Compensation is performance-based only. There is no base pay, per-post fee or retainer.

  • CPM. Creators earn the approved rate per 1,000 views each video gets above its first 200 views.
  • Bonuses. Each video earns a flat bonus when it passes a view milestone: $50 at 50,000 views, $100 at 100,000, $250 at 250,000, $450 at 500,000 and $850 at 1,000,000. The campaign’s bonus mode sets whether a video collects every milestone it passes or only the highest.
  • Cap. Each creator has a weekly payout cap.

The task shows a payout preview before you approve. Creators are paid only for videos you approve, and payouts are settled through Viral, separately from your Superapp plan.

Stopping a campaign

Ask the agent to stop the campaign, or approve the End campaign task it proposes. Recruitment closes, running videos finish their payout windows, and the daily report tracks the final results. An app with a running campaign cannot be deleted until the campaign is stopped.
