Nightly run and daily report

What the agent does every night and what the morning email contains.

Selfdrive works on a daily cycle. The agent runs at night so your morning starts with results, not with work.

The nightly run

Every night at 03 UTC the agent reviews each connected app:

  • Analytics. Reads the latest App Store Connect data, keeping provisional and incomplete days separate from final ones.
  • Apple Ads. Checks delivery, spend, bids and keyword results against the campaign you approved.
  • Creator campaigns. Checks applications, posted videos and views.
  • Scheduled work. Runs the tasks you approved for tonight, including version submissions.

An hour later, at 04 UTC, a second job writes any website articles you approved, so their reports do not wait behind the review.

The Nightly review card in your task list shows whether the next run is scheduled and what it will cover.

The daily report

After the run, Selfdrive sends one email per connected app. It has a one-line headline and four sections:

Section What is in it
Results Downloads, impressions, product page views and ad results since the last report, with the comparison to the previous period.
Done What the agent completed overnight.
Needs you Tasks waiting for your approval and decisions such as creator applications.
Waiting Work that depends on someone else, such as App Store review or a creator’s first video.

Each item links to the exact place in your workspace. Items that have not changed for several days say so, so you can tell a stuck task from a slow one.

The same message appears in your Selfdrive chat as the agent’s morning note, so you can reply to it directly.

The dashboard

The workspace overview shows first-time downloads, impressions and product page views from App Store Connect, your tasks, customer voice from reviews, competitors and keywords. Numbers for the most recent days are provisional until Apple finalizes them; the agent never treats a missing day as zero.
