Apple Ads

How Selfdrive runs Apple Search Ads inside your budget, from your own Apple Ads account.

Selfdrive runs Apple Search Ads campaigns for you: it proposes the campaign, keeps spend inside the budget you approve, tunes bids and keywords, and pauses what is not working. The results also feed your App Store listing, so keywords that convert in ads can bring organic installs too.

Connect your Apple Ads account

Open the Apple Ads tab and sign in with your Apple ID. Selfdrive asks Apple for access to your Apple Ads account and shows the ad accounts you can use. Ad spend is billed by Apple to that account, never through Superapp.

You can disconnect Apple Ads for all your apps from the same tab.

What a campaign proposal contains

A campaign is a task you approve. It names the markets, the daily budget, the currency and one of two strategies:

  • Manual. Up to ten keywords you can see, each with exact or broad match and its own maximum cost per tap. Search Match is off, so Apple does not add keywords on its own.
  • Automatic. Apple’s maximize-conversions bidding with a target cost per install, plus Search Match.

Keyword ideas come from Apple’s own suggestions for your storefront and from your ASO research. The agent never invents a bid source.

What happens after approval

  • The campaign launches inside the terms on the task. Changing the budget, keywords or bids is a new task that shows the full desired configuration, so you always see what will change.
  • Pausing and resuming are tasks too. A direct instruction in chat (“pause ads”) runs immediately.
  • The agent waits for real evidence before judging a campaign: at least 14 days, 100 impressions, 10 taps and 3 attributed installs. Below that it reports delivery, not conclusions.
  • Every morning the report shows spend against the budget, installs, cost per install and what was paused.

Budget rules

  • You set the daily budget on the task. The agent cannot raise it without a new approval.
  • Spend is paid to Apple from your account. Superapp credits are not used for ad spend.
  • Pausing a campaign does not refund spend already incurred.
